Once in a lifetime opportunity to take things to new speeds!
December 1st, 2022We are proud to have partnered with University of Canterbury Engineering students as they aim to break the world speed record in this 7.5-meter custom-designed, engineered and built rocket-shaped EV.
Sign Foundry produced the red, black, and gold livery with the subtle portrait of Burt. The race car also features the number 35. It was with these colours and numbers that Burt Munro set a new land-speed record (184 mph) in 1967, racing his Indian Scout Streamliner at Utah’s Bonneville Salt Flats.
With this modern take on Burt’s livery, we hope to build on the legacy of the Munro family. We want to thank all those involved and the students at UC Motorsport for their hard work. Good luck next year as you take on the world record.
